Judy graduated from Campbellsville University with a Major in Biology and a secondary teaching credential. Her study of God’s Word began to take hold while in college through the effective teaching of her Bible professors. She completed her certification of teaching at UC Irvine and taught several years. She also went to Southwestern Theological Seminary and pursued a Master’s in Religious Education. As one has said, ‘you never stop learning, if so, you stop growing’. Learning has been a growing process as she has gone through many workshops, seminars and conferences.

Judy has served churches in both California and Georgia specializing in Women’s Ministry, New Member Assimilation, Small Group Leadership Development and Ministry Discovery. Ministry Discovery helps people process their Spiritual gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, and Experiences (S.H.A.P.E.). She has interviewed well over a thousand people helping them assess their God-given S.H.A.P.E. Judy is a certified trainer in student self leadership as well as Situational Leadership II.

Judy is a certified C.L.A.S.S. Speaker and has spoken at women’s retreats and conferences both in Texas, Georgia and California. She has been trained in Precept by Kay Arthur and has led many Precept courses. She has teamed with her husband, Mike to do Couple’s retreats. She has years of experience as a pastor’s wife and relevant Bible teacher.

Her God-given gifts are Leadership, Teaching, Encouragement and Hospitality.

It has been said by those who have worked with her, "She believes in prayer through her private time either by talking or by journaling". She would say she is very much a ‘student of prayer.’

As far as hobbies are concerned, Judy’s interests are walking on the beach, formatting a “Book of Me” for a legacy to her 5 granddaughters, putting on Special Teas, growing roses, motorcycling with her husband, Mike.

It can be summed up by one of her dear friends, Florence Littauer, “She’s a real, upfront person,,, excited about what she teaches... it comes through... she sees potential in others-a visionary.”
