On Saturday, July 27, 2024, Bright Hope Community Church held a community outreach event on its campus in Skyline/Paradise Hills. The event hosted 250 people and featured free food, games, music, jumpers, and much, much more! The goal was to reach the community with the gospel and connect with our neighbors.
The event included free food, games for children, a bounce house, snow cones, popcorn, cotton candy, music from our local DJ, and much more!
The emphasis for this year was “Sharing the Gospel with our Neighbors,” and a short gospel message was given during each hour. A connection booth was set up where members of the community could gather information about the church and community resources, have a simple conversation, or ask for prayer. Many prayers were made for the members of our community, and one visitor from Seattle, WA, received Christ as Savior!
A hearty thanks to our ministry partners, Nuevo Cancion and New Seasons Church Spring Valley, who provided volunteers for the event. The day was topped off by our ministry partners from the Southeast Kiwanis Club, which had a nurses' station set up for blood pressure checks, and Bike Del Pueblo, which donated 20 bicycles and helmets to kids who didn’t own bikes for the second year running.We are grateful to them for their support!
